There are three main types of sofa filling:

A, soft polyurethane foam (commonly known as sponge): sponges used for sofa filling are mainly divided into three categories: conventional sponge is a sponge produced by conventional polyether and TDI. It is characterized by good resilience, softness and breathability. The high resilience sponge is a sponge made of active polyphosphorus and TDI. It has excellent mechanical properties and good elasticity. The compression load is large, the flame resistance and the gas permeability are good; the chaotic sponge is a kind of sponge whose inner hole is similar to the natural seaweed of different sizes, and is characterized by good elasticity, excellent cushioning property in compression and rebound.

B, down filling: Down is made of sofa padding, comfortable sitting and small deformation for long-term use. The disadvantage is that the rebound is slow and the cost is high. Generally used in high-grade sofas with sponges, or suitable for cushions.

C, artificial cotton filling: artificial cotton to make a sofa padding, excellent softness, comfortable sitting, but poor mechanical properties, small compression load, only suitable for cushions. The choice of the filling of the sofa: depending on the type of filling, there is a big difference in use. Under normal circumstances, the cushion padding of fabric sofas should be more suitable for high-rebound sponges of 30 kg/m3 or more. In the form, most of them are filled with a whole sponge. The best form is 30 kg/m3 or more. High resilience sponges and sloppy sponges combined with down or rayon overlays add comfort and longevity. When selecting, ask about the type of filler. If the filler is a sponge, you should know the density of the sponge used, use the gravity to feel the rebound effect of the cushion, and sit on the comfort of sitting feeling.
Generally used sponge cushion, national standard 25KG/M3, international standard 35KG/M3. The structure of the bottom surface, the structure of the high-elastic snake spring is better than the structure of the bandage. The high-quality bandage is better than the inferior bandage structure. After a long time of compression, it can rebound quickly, return to the original, without deformation or collapse.
