Furniture certificates and test reports must be evaluated against the company, product, material, market and standard named in the document. A company-level certificate does not automatically certify every model, and a material report may not cover the finished product.

Before relying on a document, check the issuing organization, named legal entity, certificate number, issue and expiry dates, covered location and stated scope. Request the current full-resolution file where necessary.
Product-Specific Requirements
Hospitality and commercial furniture requirements may include structural performance, stability, flammability, chemical content, labeling, material origin or customer-specific test methods. The buyer should identify the exact standard and acceptance criteria in the RFQ.
Where testing is required, confirm whether the report must cover a material, component, representative construction or exact finished model. Changes to fabric, foam, finish, dimensions or internal construction can affect whether an earlier report remains applicable.
