Build a Documentation Matrix Before Selecting a Mattress
Mattress certification is often discussed as a single requirement, but hotel procurement teams normally need a group of documents covering materials, chemical restrictions, fire performance, labeling, and destination-market rules. Requirements vary by country, state, property type, and project contract, so buyers should define the required standard before a sample is approved.

Match the Test Report to the Actual Build
A report is useful only when its scope matches the intended mattress: dimensions, ticking, foam layers, barrier materials, spring or foam core, and regional labeling must be reviewed together. If a buyer changes the cover, comfort layer, or construction after approval, ask whether the original documentation still applies or whether a new assessment is required.
For hotel projects, retain a controlled file containing the approved sample photos, bill of materials, test documents, supplier declarations, and final label. This makes later replenishment orders easier and reduces the risk of receiving a visually similar but technically different product.
